As we continue to grow, we are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and detail-oriented Medical Officer Assistant to join our collaborative team. This is a dynamic role that blends front-desk reception with administrative and potential clinical support, playing a key part in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.
As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to excel in a dynamic, team-oriented setting. Proficiency in the TELUS PSS EMR Suite is highly valued for effective patient and office management.
Additional experience or interest in administering vaccines and immunizations is a strong asset.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Provide direct patient care, including performing medical procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Participate in hospital committees and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical practices and technologies relevant to patient care.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
- - Proficiency with TELUS PS Suite EMR is highly valued and considered essential

- A diploma in related medical field from an accredited institution is required.
