We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physiotherapist to join our energetic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, plan, and implement personalized rehabilitation programs to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, medical histories, and functional abilities to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, electrotherapy, and other modalities to promote healing and mobility.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists—to coordinate patient care strategies.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and home exercises to support ongoing recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and medical terminology to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care.
Qualification
- Valid Physiotherapy Practice Permit Issued pursuant to Alberta's Health Professions Act.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical assessment skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced healthcare setting while maintaining attention to detail.
