About the PositionWe currently have an immediate opportunity for a full‑time Mechanic at our Toronto branch. Reporting directly to the Fleet Manager, the Mechanic will be responsible for all aspects of the repair and maintenance of the Toronto fleet. The position is hourly with a rate of $45.58 and requires a valid 310T license.ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnosis and repair of any truck or trailer breakdownsRepair and rebuild enginesRepair transmissions, driveline and differentialsPerform repairs to engine accessory componentsPerform tune‑ups using established proceduresRepair steering, suspensions, brake systems, frames, axles, electrical, hydraulic and air conditioning systemsRoad test vehicles to ensure quality of work performedTroubleshoot and repair lift gates as requiredQualificationsMinimum 4 years of mechanical experience on light and heavy equipmentCurrent 310T certification (required)
