Accents Music Learning Centre is excited to invite applications from musicians who love teaching and connecting with young people. If you’re a pianist, vocalist, or guitarist with a bright, encouraging presence and a genuine enthusiasm for helping students grow, you may be a wonderful fit for our part‑time teaching team.
We’re seeking an instructor who is interested in a steady, school‑year position (September–June), with natural breaks during Christmas, March Break, and summer.
THE POSITION
Role Type: Part‑time, with the possibility of additional hours through occasional subbing
Available Times: Weekday evenings and Saturday daytime, Monday–Thursday (3:30–8:30pm) and Saturdays
Schedule Rhythm: Built‑in holidays during Christmas, March Break, and summer
Your Work Will Include:
- Guiding students of various ages and skill levels through engaging, confidence‑building lessons
- Teaching during afternoons, evenings, or weekends
- Contributing to a supportive, team-oriented studio environment

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: A Music degree (Voice or Piano) or equivalent training; strong musical foundation required
- Experience: Previous teaching experience
- Assessment Skills: Knowledge of Practical and Theory exam preparation is an advantage
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
- Experience preparing students for festivals
- Comfort using technology (Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, etc.)
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems
- Strong organizational habits and reliability
- Clear, professional communication
- Problem‑solving skills
- Ability to teach additional instruments

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
