Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Pipefitter / Crew Truck Foreman and lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems across diverse industrial and construction projects. In this energetic role, you will oversee a crew of skilled workers, manage equipment and materials, and ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your expertise in mechanical systems, welding, and blueprint reading will drive project success while fostering a team-oriented and safety-focused environment.

Duties

- Lead and supervise a team of pipefitters and laborers on job sites, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
- Coordinate the loading, unloading, and maintenance of crew trucks and equipment to maximize productivity
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute piping installations aligned with project specifications
- Perform or oversee welding operations including MIG, TIG, and other methods to join piping components securely
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills to measure, cut, assemble, and install piping systems with precision
- Conduct rigging operations for lifting heavy pipe sections or equipment safely into place
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, safety inspections, and crew activities

Requirements





- Proven experience as a pipefitter or in a related mechanical or construction role with knowledge of plumbing systems and HVAC applications
- Strong welding skills in MIG and TIG processes; certification preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in using hand tools, calipers, and basic math for precise measurements
- Knowledge of rigging procedures, manufacturing processes, and maintenance practices in industrial settings
- Prior experience leading crews on construction or manufacturing projects is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks effectively and ensure safety compliance at all times
