Responsibilities

Assist experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings

Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications and layouts

Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision

Support the assembly of piping systems using various materials and techniques

Participate in the use of welding equipment for joining metal components when necessary





Help with routine maintenance tasks on plumbing fixtures and related building systems

Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment at all times

Requirements

3rd or 4year registered apprentice.

Strong interest in plumbing, construction, or related trades with a willingness to learn recent skills

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in plumbing work

Ability to read schematics and blueprints with guidance from mentors

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry concepts preferred

Good physical condition with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work in confined spaces

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
