We have an immediate opening for a Polishing Machine Operator.
This is a permanent position with a minimum of 40 hours per week and group extended health benefits for you and your family will be provided after successful completion of the probation period.
Job Duties:
- Operating polishing machine
- Loading and unloading of equipment onto polishing machine by lifting and/or using hoists and cranes
- Taking and recording measurements to ensure products meet specifications
- Using various hand tools
- Verifying paperwork and using product scanners for tracking purposes
Work Schedule:
- The first six (6)
weeks training is scheduled during the 7:30am – 4pm shift.
- After training is completed, the working shift will change to 4pm- 12:30am.
Qualifications:
- No experience necessary as training will be provided.
- Candidate must be physically fit.
- Must be able to stay mentally alert while performing repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
- Possesses good hand / eye coordination.
- Ability to wear a respirator, hearing protection, safety glasses and safety boots.
- Possess a strong work ethic in a positive manner with a “get the job done” attitude.
