We are currently seeking PSWs to provide exceptional community in-home client care using their acquired skills to become an active member in planning for your client’s care with the assistance of the nurse manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to, assisting with daily activities, personal care, assisting with mobility, light housekeeping, effective reporting and creating activity plans.

Choice Healthcare

requires candidates who:

Are Certified Personal Support Workers or equivalent (HSW, HCA, RPN, RN, foreign trained health professional) with a minimum one year experience

Are proficientin communicatingin English (verbal and written)

Have a valid police vulnerable sectors check

(completed within the past 12 months)

Demonstrate acommitmentto client care through reliability and flexibility

Have a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray

(completed within the past 12 months)

Have valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with proof of insurance

Are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or temporary residentsof Canada with a valid work permit

with a minimum of six months priorto expiration.

Availabilityto work every other weekend

Ability to speak other languages is an asset

Have internet access through a mobile device

Have high energy and drive to deliver excellent care through strong communication skills
