As part of the Front End Processing department, you'll manage tasks such as the transport of samples, the upkeep of equipment, and the preparation of laboratory supplies. A knowledge of lab safety and the ability to navigate software systems is crucial. Effective oral and written communication skills will aid in logging essential data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and transport laboratory specimens and samples
• Manage mail distribution and record incoming supplies
• Conduct minor maintenance on laboratory equipment
• Prepare and archive samples correctly
• Assist with training new staff as directed
Requirements:
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Competence in MS Office and laboratory database systems
• Familiarity with laboratory systems and safety protocols
• Capability to lift items up to 10 kg
• Knowledge of WHIMIS standards
