You have a strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, website optimization, analytics, and campaign performance tracking. You are comfortable working within fast-paced digital environments and using data to support continuous improvement.You bring at least three (3) years of recent, hands‑on experience in digital marketing or a related field. You have thorough experience working with digital advertising platforms, WordPress, analytics tools, and marketing technologies, with a strong focus on execution, testing, and optimization.ABOUT THIS ROLE:Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Digital Engagement, the Coordinator, Digital Marketing and Engagement executes and optimizes digital marketing activities that support United Way BC’s fundraising and engagement objectives.The role executes campaigns across paid media, website, and email channels, supports lead generation and donor acquisition initiatives, and applies data‑informed testing and optimization to improve campaign performance.Working within established strategies and priorities, the position collaborates with internal teams to ensure digital initiatives are delivered accurately, efficiently, and effectively. This role is suited to someone who is technically strong, curious, adaptable, and motivated by continuous improvement in digital performance and user experience.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Digital Advertising and Paid MediaPlan, build, and optimize paid digital campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Grants, PMAX), Meta, LinkedIn, and emerging platformsManage campaign budgets, bidding strategies, audience targeting, and creative rotation to support return on ad spendMonitor platform performance and make adjustments to improve conversion rates, cost per acquisition, and overall campaign efficiencyConduct A/B and multivariate testing of ad creative, copy, audiences, and campaign pagesResearch and pilot new digital advertising channels, formats, and tactics to support donor acquisitionStay current with platform changes, new ad formats, and best practices, and share recommendations with the teamLead Generation and Donor AcquisitionExecute lead generation campaigns to grow UWBC's prospective donor pipeline, including support strategy,



lead magnets, and acquisition journeysSet up and maintain lead capture infrastructure (forms, tracking, CRM integration) to ensure accurate data flow to SalesforceTest and iterate lead generation approaches across channels to improve performanceCoordinate with Marketing Operations to ensure leads flow correctly into SFMC journeys and are segmented accurately in SalesforceSupport exploration of new acquisition channels including retargeting, lookalike audiences, and partnership‑based digital campaignsWebsite Performance and SearchBuild, maintain, and update campaign pages and donation formsManage website content using WordPress, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and campaign alignmentImplement improvements to support website usability and conversionMonitor website performance using Google Analytics 4 and identify opportunities for improvementSupport SEO strategy and execution, including keyword research, on‑page optimization, and performance trackingEnsure website integrations with Salesforce, donation platforms, and analytics tools are functioning accuratelyAnalytics, Reporting and OptimizationBuild and maintain campaign performance dashboards and reports using GA4 and platform analyticsTrack and report on key metrics including cost per acquisition, conversion rates, and campaign performanceTranslate data into insights to support campaign optimizationMaintain UTM tracking and campaign tagging standards to support accurate attributionContribute to testing and data‑informed decision‑making across campaignsMarketing Technology and EfficiencySupport the use of tools and workflows to improve campaign execution and efficiencyCoordinate campaign asset delivery to Marketing Operations for SFMC builds, ensuring timelines and specifications are accurateAssist with testing campaigns prior to deployment to ensure accuracy and functionalityIdentify opportunities to improve tools and processes and bring forward suggestionsSupport implementation of automated workflows in coordination with Marketing OperationsIntegrated Campaign DeliveryExecute digital components of integrated campaigns across email, paid media, website, and social channelsSupport coordination of campaign materials across digital and print channels, including vendor liaison for production and fulfillmentContribute input to campaign planning discussions based on platform insights and performance dataWork collaboratively with team members to deliver campaigns accurately and on scheduleGeneralAssists at special events as required. May participate in community engagement or fundraising activities.Liaise with United Way Centraide Canada (UWCC).Performs other duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:EducationPost‑secondary bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, marketing communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperienceMinimum three (3) years of recent, hands‑on experience in digital marketing, with demonstrated expertise in paid digital advertising and performance marketingProven ability to manage Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Google Ad Grants,



and PMAX; Google Ads certification is an assetHands‑on experience with data tracking tools, including Google Tag Manager and Meta PixelExperience managing Meta Ads Manager campaigns for acquisition and retargeting, supporting defined performance objectivesWorking knowledge of SEO and AEO practices, including keyword research and organic performance trackingPractical experience managing websites using WordPress, including building and updating campaign pages and donation formsExperience using Google Analytics 4, including event tracking, conversion setup, and reportingExperience working within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including building and deploying email campaigns, journey setup, and audience managementFamiliarity with Salesforce CRM, including data coordination, reporting, and audience segmentationExperience using Canva or similar tools to support digital ad creative and testingExperience in a nonprofit, fundraising, or direct response environment is an asset.
