Insurance Loss Control Advisor - Winnipeg, MBDevelop innovative risk and liability improvement recommendations and strategiesHere is what a typical day looks likeTravel onsite to survey commercial businesses on behalf of Western and provide loss control recommendations to reduce the frequency and severity of losses arising from property, crime and liabilityCollaborate with Underwriting, Sales and Service departments and the policyholder in the delivery and execution of Loss Control survey and service practicesConduct risk evaluation services (property and liability) through site surveys to identify and evaluate loss exposure, hazards, and controls for risks.Provide meaningful recommendations for loss control improvements through analysis of construction, occupancy, protection, exposures, hazards, fire protection systems, etc.Collect information on client accounts such as historical claims analysis, loss trends, assess the possibility of future losses and other unique technical areasBe well informed of industry and technical news and developments and share the knowledge gained with peers, business partners, and policyholdersBe our advocate, develop and deliver risk management seminars for commercial insurance clients and employeesThe value you bringExperience in insurance, trades, civil technology, safety, commercial risk management,
