Dogwood Place Child & Youth Development Centre Requirements
Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, Child and Youth Care, Early Childhood Education or equivalent. Specialized clinical training in Positive Behavioural Support (PBS), and/or Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Certification through the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Minimum two years’ experience working with children and 2000 hours working with children with autism and/or developmental disabilities and their families Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills
The Behaviour Analyst collaborates with families, staff, and community partners to develop evidence-informed behavior support strategies at Dogwood Place. Working within an interdisciplinary team, the role delivers consultation, coaching, and intervention to promote child inclusion and skill development across home, school, and community settings.
