Job Title: Power BI Lead

Location: Toronto, ON - Onsite

Duration: 5 months with high possibility of conversion

Pay: $65-75/hr INC

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Power BI Lead to lead the design, development, governance, and support of enterprise reporting solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric .

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Power BI developers and BI delivery activities.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions.
- Develop and optimize Power BI reports, DAX, Power Query (M), semantic models, and data models .
- Work with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Azure SQL, and ADLS .
- Manage Power BI workspaces, security, RLS , refreshes, gateways, and deployments.
- Ensure reporting governance, data quality, performance, and best practices.




- Support production issues, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, data engineering, architecture, and offshore teams.
- Support UAT, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of hands-on Power BI experience.
- Solid DAX, Power Query/M, SQL, semantic modeling, and data modeling skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data platforms .
- Experience with Power BI Service, RLS, governance, and deployments .
- Experience with DevOps/CI/CD .
- Strong stakeholder communication and team leadership skills.
