Job Summary

ArcLine Pipe & Steel is seeking a reliable and skilled Pressure Welder to join our fabrication team. The successful candidate will perform welding, fitting, and assembly of pipe and steel components in a fabrication shop environment, working from drawings, specifications, and work orders.

This position requires a qualified pressure welder with solid fabrication skills who can work independently while maintaining a high standard of quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

- Perform welding on pipe and steel components using SMAW, GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and FCAW processes.
- Perform pressure welding and CWB-qualified welding in accordance with applicable procedures and specifications.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols, blueprints, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, fit, tack, and assemble pipe and steel components.
- Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment.
- Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, drills, plasma cutters, and other shop equipment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and applicable regulations.
- Work independently and manage assigned work with minimal supervision.
- Assist with other shop duties as required.

Qualifications
- Red Seal Welder certification required.




- Class A Pressure Welder certification required.
- Valid CWB welder qualification to CSA W47.1 required.
- Demonstrated experience in pipe welding and fabrication.
- Proficiency in SMAW, GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and FCAW welding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding shop environment.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
