In this role, you’ll blend your extensive experience in applied science with hands-on engineering to propel the Compass product forward. You will have a pivotal role in transforming cutting-edge ideas into practical applications that improve retailer interactions. Your background in evaluating models and data will be key to developing features that maximize efficiency and business value.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the scientific direction for Compass's AI features • Implement effective end-to-end solutions in the FLARE app • De-risk product strategies through transparent planning • Set high standards for evaluation and experimental development • Collaborate on architectural formulations with engineers
Requirements: • 5+ years of relevant industry experience • Shipped LLM-powered components within core products • Expertise in applied ML, data science, and evaluation methods • Extensive cross-stack development experience • High autonomy, resourceful with decision-making
