The ideal candidate will enjoy working with the public, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and take pride in a safe driving record.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a transit vehicle from our fleet of buses in accordance with the Motor Vehicle Act of the Province of British Columbia, regulations, municipal bylaws, and transit department policies and procedures.Demonstrate courtesy and attention to passengers’ comfort and safety, providing a high level of customer service.Provide general information and assistance to passengers regarding routes, schedules and fares.Collect and monitor fares, transfers, tickets and passes.Maintain a high standard of personal appearance,



care and wearing of uniforms issued to the operator.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsMinimum Class 4 unrestricted Driver’s Licence.Exemplary driving and accident record.Proven experience in customer service or hospitality.Adaptability to a flexible work schedule.Ability to supply a Police Information and Vulnerability Sector Check and driver’s abstract and claims history demonstrating a record of safe, reliable, legal driving.Position DetailsUnion (ATU) – Permanent Part‑TimeHours of Work: 24 – 37.5 hours per week, varying based on a sign‑up system.
