Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently to support processing, construction, and landscape projects
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
- Assist with construction activities, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment setup
- Use hand tools and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology for site assessments and project planning
- Support landscape maintenance efforts by trimming, planting, and managing outdoor areas
- Drive commercial vehicles as needed for transportation of materials or equipment between sites
- Perform regular inspections of equipment, tools, and work areas to identify issues early and prevent downtime
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating heavy equipment, power tools, and hand tools
- Construction experience or background in site development or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, trimming, or irrigation setup
- Ability to operate GIS software for mapping or project planning purposes is a plus
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience driving large vehicles is preferred
- Prior experience with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is highly desirable
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to operational protocols
