Lenmark Industries

Aldergrove

If you like thinking on your feet, figuring out what matters, and turning opportunities into deals, you’ll probably love this job.

At Lenmark, the next opportunity is rarely the same as the last one. A seller might contact us about a few thousand dollars of surplus electrical equipment in the morning. That afternoon, you could be looking at a generator package, transformer, production line, mining asset, or a large group of industrial equipment worth hundreds of thousands.

Your job is to make sense of those opportunities quickly: understand what is being offered, figure out what matters, determine whether there is a deal to be made, communicate with the seller, negotiate the structure, and move the right opportunities toward a signed agreement.

You do not need to arrive as an industrial equipment expert. We care much more about whether you are sharp, curious, organized, good with people, comfortable with technology, and able to think for yourself.

This is a high-volume, fast-moving role for someone who likes business, deals, technology, and learning something new every day.

What You'll Do

- Work primarily with inbound sellers who contact Lenmark about industrial equipment they want to sell.
- Qualify new opportunities and determine which ones are worth pursuing.
- Research and help appraise unfamiliar equipment using AI, online research, internal knowledge, and Lenmark's systems.
- Speak with sellers by phone and email to understand their equipment, expectations, and situation.
- Structure and negotiate primarily consignment opportunities, along with occasional outright purchases when appropriate.
- Build confidence with sellers and explain why listing through Lenmark may be the right option for them.
- Prepare procurement agreements and collect the information required to move equipment into Lenmark's inventory process.
- Accurately maintain opportunities, contacts, activities, and deal information in HubSpot and Lenmark's internal software.
- Manage a high volume of active opportunities without losing track of important details.
- Coordinate with our inventory, account management, and sales teams as deals progress.
- Attend occasional local site visits.
- Over time, help identify and pursue recent sources of industrial equipment and larger procurement opportunities.

Who We're Looking For We are much more interested in how you think and operate than in your exact previous job title.

You may be a strong fit if you are:

- Sharp and able to learn unfamiliar subjects quickly.
- Naturally curious and good at asking the right questions.
- A strong critical thinker who can work through problems without needing every step explained.
- Comfortable speaking with customers and building rapport.
- Good at reading people and understanding what matters to them.
- Interested in negotiation, value, and how deals come together.
- Fast and highly capable on a computer.
- Comfortable moving between email, CRM, AI tools, research, contracts, and internal software throughout the day.
- Organized enough to manage a large pipeline and keep accurate records.
- Proactive and willing to take ownership of your work.
- Humble enough to learn and hungry enough to keep improving.
- Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information.
- Someone who enjoys working closely with a team.
- Interested in building a career, taking on more responsibility, and becoming increasingly valuable over time.

Sales, procurement, business development, account management, industrial, or equipment experience can all be helpful, but none are mandatory if you have the right aptitude.

About Lenmark

Lenmark Industries buys, consigns, markets, and sells used and surplus industrial equipment.

There is an enormous amount of value tied up in industrial assets that companies no longer need. Our job is to help sellers recover that value and connect their equipment with buyers across Canada, the United States, and beyond.

The variety is one of the best parts of the business. We work with everything from electrical and manufacturing equipment to generators, heavy machinery, mining assets, plant equipment, and complete industrial packages.

Most people do not realize how large or interesting the used industrial equipment market is until they work in it. There are valuable assets sitting idle everywhere, and every deal involves a different combination of equipment, people, value, timing, logistics, and negotiation.

Lenmark is also investing heavily in technology.

We have our own development team and custom-built internal software designed specifically around how our company operates. We actively use AI, automation, data, and digital marketing to improve how we source, manage, and sell equipment.

Career Growth

We are building a larger Procurement department, and this role has meaningful room to grow.

A strong performer could progress toward:

- Senior Procurement Specialist
- Procurement Manager
- Major project and industrial asset sourcing
- Leadership within a growing Procurement team

As Lenmark grows, the strongest people in the company will have opportunities to take on larger deals, more responsibility, and increasingly key parts of the business. We are looking for someone who wants more than just their next job. We want someone who is interested in becoming increasingly capable, learning quickly, taking on bigger opportunities, and growing with Lenmark over the next several years.

Compensation & Benefits

- Total compensation of approximately $72,000-$110,000+ per year, depending on performance and experience.
- Base salary plus commission.
- Extended health and dental benefits.
- Paid time off.
- Monday to Friday schedule.
- Career advancement opportunities.

Work Location This is anin-office position at our Langley, BC location, five days per week.

Occasional local site visits may be required. Additional travel opportunities may become available as the role develops.

Why This Role Is Different

You will not spend every day selling or buying the same product.

You will constantly encounter equipment, industries, companies, and situations you have never seen before. The job rewards people who can learn quickly, use the tools available to them, understand people, spot opportunity, and turn incomplete information into a good decision.

If that sounds more interesting to you than following the same process every day, we would like to hear from you.
