JOB DESCRIPTIONOur client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a full-stack developer - Java, NodeJS, SQL, and NoSQL- to Design and implement components of an enterprise-scale ASPM. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.LocationHybrid (Downtown, Toronto)Duration6 monthsTypical Day in role- Full Stack Development: Develop back-end and front-end components that integrate various security tools into a single pane of glass for developers and security practitioners.- Data Modeling and Design: Work towards a unified data model/data warehouse that provide tool-agnostic views into vulnerability data obtained from disparate tools.- Cloud Deployment: Deploy to cloud sandbox and UAT environments as part of the SDLC used to develop the solution.- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to identify requirements and existing processes, designing solutions that improve the efficiency and user experience of developers and security practitioners.- Security: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards to protect the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data.- Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce latency, and optimize resource usage.- Disaster Recovery:



Design and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity and data integrity in case of system failures or other unforeseen events.Must-Have Skills- Strong complex problem-solving skills.- 10+ years of full stack development experience(Java, NodeJS, SQL, noSQL)- 5+ Cloud and Containerized development experience- 5+ years Agile and SDLC experience- Cloud solution deployment experience (GCP, Azure)- Docker containers- KubernetesNice-To-Have Skills- Active Directory / Entra ID integrations focusing on SSO.- Experience with Application Security Tools (Checkmarx, Snyk, Wiz)- AI Agentic experience (MCPs, Agents, Skills, RAG)Soft Skills Required- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to devise creative solutions to complex technical challenges.- Solid communication skills - written & oral- Strong collaborator, team playerEducation- Bachelor's in a technical field (computer science)FP Inc. is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all team members and clients feel like they belong.
