Production Manager – Luxury Bedding Manufacturing

St. Geneve is Canada's leading luxury bedding manufacturer, recognized for exceptional craftsmanship and fine natural materials. This isn’t a marketing phrase. We have lived it for over 30 years. We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing of our luxury bed linens at our facility in Richmond, BC.

The Role:You will manage our production facility and lead a multicultural team of approximately 25 employees in fabric cutting, sewing/finishing, down & feather production and warehouse staff. You will bring efficiency but still deliver uncompromising craftsmanship. You will always be mindful that in every operational decision, quality takes precedence over cost.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production Oversight: Plan and schedule daily production flow, establish priorities, and meet delivery commitments.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve workflow layout, maximize fabric utilization, and minimize waste.
- Equipment Optimization: Recommend and implement specialized sewing machine attachments (folders, binders, hemmers) to improve consistency and output.
- Quality & Safety: Maintain rigorous quality-control procedures and ensure a secure, collaborative, and harmonious work environment.
- Inventory & Team Leadership:



Manage stock levels and cycle counts with the warehouse manager. Handle hiring, training, and coaching for production.
- Collaboration: Work with management, purchasing, product development, and customer service teams.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Production management in a sewing, textile, drapery, apparel, or soft goods environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of industrial sewing operations, machine attachments, and production planning.
- Skills: Strong organization, problem-solving, basic math, and competency with Microsoft Excel for production analysis.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead by example, train employees, and manage a diverse, multicultural workforce with a calm, respectful style.
- English: Fluency, as most of our staff can speak English as a second language.

Preferred Assets:

- Experience in luxury textiles, home furnishings, or bedding manufacturing.
- Background in fabric operations, continuous improvement, or quality assurance systems.

Pay: $55,260.44-$80,000.00 per year
