RSL Manufacturing is a Canadian manufacturer specializing in high-quality recreational equipment, including our Kodiak telescopic seating systems. Our products are designed, fabricated, and manufactured in-house, with a strong focus on quality, durability, and craftsmanship.

We are looking for a Production Welder to join our manufacturing team in Lockport, Manitoba.

The Opportunity

As a Production Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating steel components used in the production of our products. This is a hands-on manufacturing position suited to someone who takes pride in producing clean, strong, consistent welds and enjoys working as part of a skilled production team.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform welding on steel components and assemblies. Specifically MIG
- Read and interpret shop drawings, weld symbols, and measurements
- Fit, position, clamp, and weld components according to specifications
- Use jigs, fixtures, measuring tools, and production equipment
- Complete repetitive production welding while maintaining consistent quality
- Inspect finished welds and fabricated components for accuracy and quality
- Grind, clean, and prepare welds and components as required
- Operate shop equipment such as saws, drills, grinders, and other fabrication tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Work with the production team to meet quality and production schedules
- Identify fabrication or welding issues and communicate them to the appropriate supervisor

Qualifications

Required:

- Previous experience in a production or fabrication welding environment
- Ability to produce quality MIG welds




- Ability to read basic shop drawings and measurements
- Good understanding of welding and fabrication practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of working in a manufacturing workplace

Assets:

- Welding/fabrication apprenticeship or trade certification
- Experience working from jigs and fixtures
- Experience with production welding
- Forklift experience
- Ability to perform basic fabrication and fitting
