Nooma Program Lead
Nooma Space is looking for an energetic, responsible, and experienced Program Lead to join our team!
Nooma Space delivers creative youth programs and camps designed to build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and empathy through movement, play, and hands-on activities.
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and can bring great energy, leadership, and positivity into every program.
The Role
As a Nooma Program Lead, you will be responsible for delivering our programs in schools and leading our camps for children ages 5–12.
You will be the face of Nooma during program hours, creating a protected, positive, and fun environment while making sure each activity reflects the Nooma experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead Nooma programs in elementary schools
- Lead and facilitate activities for children ages 5–12
- Lead and support Nooma camps, including Pro-D and summer camps
- Create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children
- Encourage teamwork, creativity, confidence, and positive social interaction
- Manage groups of children safely and responsibly
- Follow Nooma's program structure while bringing your own personality and energy to activities
- Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and Nooma team members
- Help set up and clean up program spaces
- Support and provide leadership to other youth leaders and instructors when needed
- Represent Nooma Space in a professional and positive manner
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children ages 5–12
- Previous experience in camps, schools, recreation, childcare,
education, sports, dance, or youth programs is an asset
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Responsible, dependable, and punctual
- Positive attitude and great energy!
- Comfortable leading groups and keeping children engaged
- Patient, enthusiastic, and encouraging
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- A genuine interest in youth development and creating positive experiences for children
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle is an asset, but not required
Schedule School programs typically run during the afternoon, generally between 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM.
Additional hours are available for Pro-D days, school breaks, summer camps, special events, and other Nooma programs.
Compensation
Starting at $27/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Starting Wage: $27/hour
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
