you willPlan and deliver a consistent child‑centered program for elementary‑age children according to YMCA curriculumProvide compassionate care and support to children and familiesEnsure supervision and safety of children at all times; comply with provincial (CCEYA), municipal and YMCA policiesBe committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and building a sense of belongingEmbrace and exemplify YMCA core valuesEducation & Skills QualificationsExperience with children 4‑12 years in a work or school placement setting is an assetEnrolled, or currently pursuing, a diploma in Early Childhood Education, or related degree is an assetEarly Childhood Education graduates must be registered (or proof of registration in process) and in good standing with CECEGraduates in a related field must be members of relevant associationsValid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification, or training scheduled within next three months.
