We’re looking for a Landscape Construction Project Manager who can lead projects from concept to execution, manage teams, and ensure every detail is executed to a high standard.
Role overview
Project Managers at Tall Oaks oversee landscape construction projects from design through completion. This role requires a strong understanding of Hardscapes, softscapes, and specialty trades, along with the ability to manage people, timelines, and details across multiple job sites.
You will lead crews and foremen, coordinate with designers and clients, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to our quality standards. Strong organization, attention to detail, and clear communication are key.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple landscape construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate schedules, crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment
- Lead and support foremen, crews, and trades on-site
- Ensure timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols are met
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, designers, and internal teams
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control checks
- Track budgets, costs, and support accurate invoicing
- Maintain job documentation (notes, photos, progress reports)
- Resolve issues on-site and keep projects moving efficiently
- Identify and improve workflows, systems, and team performance
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Project Management, Landscape Construction, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in landscape construction, design-build, or project management
- Strong knowledge of Hardscapes, Softscapes, and general construction practices
- Experience managing crews, foremen, and subcontractors
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with job tracking, documentation, and basic invoicing workflows
- Valid G driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience on high-end luxury projects (preferred)
