With architecture, interior design, permitting, and construction management under one roof, we deliver highly detailed residential projects from concept through completion.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Site Supervisor to join our construction team and take a leading role in the day-to-day management and execution of our residential projects.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and confident managing trades, subcontractors, schedules, site activities, and client expectations.

KEY REQUIREMENT A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in high-end custom home construction is mandatory.

Candidates without a minimum of 5 years of direct experience working on high-end custom residential construction projects will not be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject Management

- Manage residential construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers, consultants, and internal design staff.
- Review drawings, specifications, and construction details to ensure work is executed according to the design.
- Identify potential issues, delays, or conflicts and proactively develop solutions.
- Track project progress, deficiencies, changes, and outstanding items.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are available when required.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, site reports, schedules, and meeting records.
- Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, change orders, and project forecasting.
- Coordinate inspections and work with consultants and municipal authorities as required.

Site Supervision
- Oversee daily site operations and ensure work is progressing safely, efficiently, and according to the project schedule.
- Coordinate and supervise multiple trades on site.




- Inspect workmanship and ensure construction meets arklab's quality standards and project specifications.
- Review site conditions and identify construction issues before they become costly problems.
- Ensure proper sequencing and coordination between trades.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional construction site.
- Monitor site safety and ensure subcontractors comply with applicable safety requirements.
- Prepare regular site updates and communicate project progress to management.

Client & Team Communication
- Act as a primary point of contact between the construction team, clients, trades, consultants, and arklab's design team.
- Attend site meetings and provide clear updates on progress, upcoming work, decisions, and potential issues.
- Maintain a qualified and positive relationship with homeowners and project stakeholders.
- Communicate design and construction issues promptly to the appropriate team members.
- Work closely with architects and interior designers to ensure the design intent is maintained throughout construction.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Mandatory:

- Minimum 5 years of direct experience in high-end custom home construction.
- Proven experience supervising and coordinating multiple trades on luxury residential projects.
- Robust understanding of residential construction methods, materials, sequencing, and detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and interior design drawings.
- Strong knowledge of construction coordination and building practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple trades, schedules, and priorities simultaneously.




- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and Toronto construction requirements is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.

WHO YOU ARE You are a hands-on construction professional with extensive experience delivering high-end custom homes. You understand that successful luxury residential projects require exceptional attention to detail, organization, communication, and quality control.

You take ownership of your projects, anticipate problems before they arise, communicate clearly with clients and trades, and are capable of maintaining a high standard of workmanship from the beginning of construction through final completion.

You are comfortable working between site supervision, project coordination, trade management, scheduling, documentation, and client communication.
