: Our client in Edmonton is looking for Project Manager for Transmission projects!

Must Have Primary Skills :

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, OR relevant technical certificate/diploma with10+ years relevant experience.
- 5+ years Project Management experience in a construction environment.
- Utility construction experience in energized substations.
- Knowledge of substation hazards and appropriate secure work practices.
- Experience with project permitting, environmental assessments and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong understanding of PMBOK-aligned project management processes and procedures.
- Experience managing projects from inception through closeout.
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, schedules and change approvals.
- Experience working with engineering, project controls and construction crews.

Nice to Have Secondary Skills :

- PMP designation.AESO project lifecycleexperience.Alberta utility/transmission project experience.
- High-voltage transmission project experience.
- Experience with EPCOR systems such as Oracle Projects, IVARA Work Management, eScheduler,



SharePoint and ProjectWise.
- Alberta OH&S; awareness.
- Ground Disturbance 201.
- Leadership for Safety Excellence.

Proven Experience In

- RequiredPortfolio/multiple project management.
- Construction project execution and field coordination.
- HSE inspections and safe-work planning.
- Major equipment and construction-services procurement.
- RFP development and tendering.
- Bid evaluation and contract negotiations.
- Contract administration.Project reporting, records and governance.
- Stakeholder/vendor/contractor management.Field kickoffs and project walkdowns.
- Environmental and regulatory coordination.Change management and project controls.Accurate documentation and reporting.

Skills - Databases - Experience In at least 5 years of experience with/in Program Project Management - Operating Systems - Experience In at least 5 years of experience with/in Portfolio Project Manager Industry experience required: Engineering
