We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our software development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and functionality of software applications throughout the development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have robust experience in both manual and automated testing, with a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation frameworks, API testing, database testing, and Agile development practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and software applications.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
- Validate application data using SQL and database queries.
- Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve defects.
- Participate in requirements analysis and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Execute regression testing for new releases and application enhancements.
- Perform cross-browser and compatibility testing.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and automation coverage.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning,



and release activities.
- Prepare test reports and communicate testing results to project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance/testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Strong experience with API testing and REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Jira or similar defect-management tools.
- Experience working with Git and version-control systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver and TestNG/JUnit.
- Experience with Cypress or Playwright.
- Experience with API automation.
- Knowledge of Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Docker and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Experience testing microservices and distributed applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Pay: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
