- Graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant Program
- Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Acceptable Criminal Record check, vulnerable sector screening
- CPR-C certification
- Current Food Safe certification

- Positive organization and time management skills

List of Duties
Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Tla’amin policies, standards,
practices and procedures as directed by the Home and Community Care Coordinator. Maintains confidentiality as required pertaining to members, clients, employees and general matters of the Nation.
- Implements home support and personal care for clients as directed
- Works to ensure the social, spiritual health and well-being are met for all clients
- Assists clients with activities of daily living
- Maintains strict confidentiality as required pertaining to clients and their families
- Acts as a liaison for individuals in the Home & Community Care program
- Maintains accurate records of daily tasks, routine, and clients served
- Complete daily EMR charting of client information
- May be required to work outside normal office hours
- Transport and assists client(s) according to care plan
- Performs other duties as required
