TalentWorld is recruiting a Quality Assurance Inspector in Puslinch, Ontario for one of its valued partners.

In this position, you will be responsible for performing hands-on inspections and testing of precast concrete products throughout the manufacturing process , ensuring products meet engineering specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality standards, and customer requirements. You will work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify deficiencies, maintain accurate inspection documentation, and help ensure finished products meet required specifications.
Schedule: Full-time | Day or afternoon shift, based on operational requirements

- The typical hiring range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 per year and is specific to candidates located in Ontario. The salary will be determined based on your knowledge, skills and competencies, and you’ll have room to grow after you join! Quality Assurance Inspector Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections of precast concrete products in accordance with engineering specifications and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Conduct required fresh/plastic concrete testing and support laboratory testing activities
- Inspect reinforcement, formwork, dimensions, and other product requirements prior to and following concrete placement
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
- Complete inspection reports, test results, and other required quality documentation
- Identify, document, and report nonconforming products or processes
- Communicate quality concerns and inspection findings with production teams, supervisors, and other internal stakeholders
- Ensure inspection and testing equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and controlled
- Support compliance with applicable industry standards, internal quality procedures, and customer specifications
- Identify and report potential quality or safety concerns
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment within the manufacturing facility and outdoor yard
Quality Assurance Inspector Qualifications
- Previous hands-on quality inspection or quality control experience within precast concrete, concrete manufacturing, construction materials, or a closely related environment
- Experience inspecting pressure pipe, concrete pipe, segmental bridge components, bridge girders,
or other structural precast products is a strong asset
- Knowledge of concrete materials, reinforcement, formwork, and concrete testing procedures
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and Inspection and Test Plans
- Experience completing inspection reports, test documentation, and nonconformance documentation
- Civil Engineering degree, diploma, or equivalent technical education
- ACI Grade 1 Field Testing Technician certification or equivalent is an asset
- Familiarity with applicable CSA, ASTM, OPSS, or other concrete/precast standards is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing facility and outdoor yard workplace
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of a hands-on inspection position and work overtime when required
