Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our vibrant dental team, On WEDNESDAY EVENINGS from 4PM-8PM. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by providing thorough cleanings, patient education, and maintaining optimal oral health. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental experience.

Responsibilities

- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote lifelong dental health.
- Assist with patient management by reviewing medical histories, updating charts, and ensuring all documentation is accurate in Dentrix or similar dental software.
- Support the dental team during procedures by preparing instruments, sterilizing equipment,



and managing patient comfort.
- Communicate effectively with bilingual patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical setting adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
- Experience working in a dental office setting with proficiency in dental assisting tasks preferred.
- Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse patient populations.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance communication with a broader range of patients.
- Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate charting and communication.
