Central Vet is growing and has an exciting new opportunity available! We are looking for compassionate and detail oriented Receptionists to join our team. This role will be located at our Oak Bluff clinic.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver a welcoming, compassionate, and professional client experience, while helping clients prepare for appointments, procedures, and follow-up care.
- Accurately schedule appointments, manage rebooking, and support efficient access to care across all service types.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and well-functioning front-of-house environment while supporting smooth daily clinic flow.
- Manage phone, email, SMS, and chat communications with clarity and efficiency, ensuring timely responses and proper direction of inquiries.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records, including registrations, updates, and documentation within the practice management system (Digitail).




- Process invoices and payments accurately while supporting clients in understanding pricing, policies, and payment options.
- Support proactive booking, follow-ups, and reminders to ensure continuity of care and minimize schedule gaps.
- Uphold clinic values, contribute to a positive team environment, and support operational excellence through attention to detail and continuous improvement.

Qualifications: · Previous experience in reception, customer service, or a client-facing role (veterinary or healthcare preferred)

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism

· Basic computer skills and comfort learning new software
