Responsibilities

- Perform thorough diagnostics on vehicles using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to ensure precise repairs and installations.
- Assist with vehicle inspections, heavy lifting tasks, and routine maintenance to uphold safety standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and communicate findings clearly to customers or team members.




- Support the workshop with vehicle assembly/disassembly tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

- Valid Red Seal certification as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic with proven experience in automotive repair.
- Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with brand-specific systems and procedures.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models.
- Proficiency in using schematics, diagnostic software, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely during repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Prior experience working with vehicle schematics and performing complex repairs is advantageous.
