Information Coordinator (Legal Resolution Support Centre)Job Title: Information Coordinator (Legal Resolution Support Centre) | Job Requisition ID: 84345 | Ministry: Justice | Location: Edmonton, Alberta | Hours: 36.25 hours per week | Classification: Administrative Support 6 | Salary: $59,137 - $74,827 per year (bi-weekly $2,265.79 to $2,866.95)The Alberta Public Service works to build a stronger province for current and future generations. We make a difference in the lives of Albertans through rewarding and diverse career opportunities.Within the Court and Justice Services (CJS) Division, the Resolution Support Centre is the “come in” of the service delivery model, focusing on providing consistent information to Albertans in person, by telephone, or by email. The role supports front‑end resolution of legal issues and improves client experience.ResponsibilitiesProvide accurate, current, and reliable information to Albertans, including self‑represented litigants.Offer information and referrals regarding alternatives to court action and Resolution Services Programs (Assessment Services, Dispute Resolution Services), other GOA departments, NGOs, and local resources.Assist clients in locating general and legal information, such as court processes, program policies, and legislation.Review and file court documents in accordance with the Alberta Rules of Court, federal and provincial statutes, policy directives, and procedure manuals.Research, develop,



and maintain program and service resource materials to facilitate consistent service delivery and staff training.Qualifications (Required)High school diploma and four (4) years of related experience in a legal field or environment. Experience supporting a variety of clients may also be considered.Examples of related experience: Legal Assistants and Paralegals; Court or JudicialClerks and Assistants; experience with variousareas of law, court processes, and procedures in a judicial or legal workplace (law firm, court services, correctional services).Equivalencies: One year of directly related experience for one year of education, or one year of directly related education for one year of experience.Assets (Preferred)Related post‑secondary education in the legal field.Knowledge of the Alberta Rules of Court.Knowledge of the different areas of law and all levels of court processes and procedures.Experience supporting or assisting vulnerable populations, demonstrating crisis intervention or management skills.Experience using Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.Fluent written and oral communication skills in French.Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.All candidates must complete a typing test before submitting an application; a typing speed ofat least 40 WPM is required.Contact: If you require any further information or accommodation during the recruitment process, please contact Krista Lammie at [email protected].#J-18808-Ljbffr
