Your role directly impacts the success of our recycling operations, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will handle sorting and grading of various scrap metal types, assist customers, and uphold safety protocols on site. The position requires a solid work ethic and the ability to function independently in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and grade scrap metal for recycling purposes
• Use two-way radios for effective communication
• Support customers with unloading inquiries
• Maintain area cleanliness and safety standards
• Utilize hand and power tools safely
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 months of industrial work experience
• Previous experience in an industrial setting is advantageous
