We are a busy Oral/Maxillofacial Surgical Centre looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our team as a casual to start, then to take over for medical leave/ maternity leave (every Friday and every 2nd Wednesday). Must have surgical experience, work well in a fast-paced environment, be patient focused and are willing and able to learn and grow with our team.

Role

- Preparing OR's and consult rooms.
- Taking panoramic x-rays, CBCT scans and impressions
- Surgical assisting, post-operative teaching for both local anesthetic and general sedation procedures.
- Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by adhering to legislated privacy acts and regulations.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures




- Maintain skilled and technical knowledge by obtaining continuing education credits and participating in workplace education programs as required.

Requirements:

- Current registration with CADA

- Current BLS

- Previous surgical experience

Assets:

- Sedation Assistant Certification

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
