We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Registered Early Childhood Educator with exceptional observation and programming skills and a sound knowledge of child development. The candidate we are looking for must exhibit a level of Emotional Intelligence positive attitude to join our family-like work culture. We are expanding and looking for Registered Early Childhood Educators who are passionate and able to learn and grow with us.

Responsibilities:

- Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans indoors and outdoors for children between the ages of 2 to 5
- Creating a structured, quiet, and nurturing environment for children
- Teach basic academic skills such as reading, writing, math, and science
- Developing and implementing educational activities to promote social, emotional, and physical development
- Assessing and evaluating children’s progress through various methods, such as observation, assessment tools, and testing
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff to plan and organize events and parent-teacher meetings
- Maintaining a safe and clean classroom setting
- Managing children’s behavior and enforcing classroom rules and routines




- Identifying and addressing individual learning needs and challenges of children
- Attending professional development workshops and staying updated with the latest teaching methods and educational trends
- Participating in staff meetings
- Building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- To plan and implement an age-appropriate program indoors and outdoors meeting the requirements of “How Does Learning Happen?” and the four foundations
- To create a professional and positive image for the Agency daily
- To have a working knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act and comply with the Policies and Procedures of the Agency
- To share in the care and housekeeping tasks of the Centre
- Basic knowledge of computer skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of the "Hi Mama" program

Qualifications/Requirements

- 3+ years experience RECE
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Active First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Negative TB Test
