Job Summary

As our newest Registered Early Childhood Educator(RECE), you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds. You’ll create a safe, nurturing, and dynamic setting where children (aged 3 months to 6 years) can explore, learn, and grow.

Working alongside a collaborative team of dedicated educators, you will help manage daily room operations and build meaningful relationships with children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide for the physical and emotional well-being of individual children and groups, fostering positive and secure attachments.
- Observe, assess, and document children's development. Plan and implement culturally sensitive weekly activities that stimulate cognitive, emotional, and physical growth.
- Work closely with colleagues and center management to manage daily activities in compliance with program statements, policies, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain clear formal and informal communication with families, colleagues, and center leadership regarding child progress or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records, including emergency forms, illness/accident reports, daily attendance, and biannual developmental summaries.
- Fulfill opening or closing duties as scheduled, ensuring safety checks and procedural protocols are thoroughly met.




- Shift rotation is a requirement.

Qualifications:
- Valid registration as an Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with the appropriate licensing body
- Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and special education strategies
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, colleagues, and community partners
- Ability to operate computers and related software for documentation and communication purposes
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide children positively while fostering independence
- 2 to 3 years of experience working with children and families (student placements completed during an ECE program count as 1 year of work experience

1. Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C Certification.
2. Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Reference Check.

Pay: $23.50-$24.86 per hour
