Job Overview

Aristos Education Services is seeking passionate and qualified individuals registered as Social Workers in Ontario to work as academic coaches for the StudySpot and Academic Behaviour Coaching programs in the Hamilton and Burlington areas.

Our coaches work one on one with students in all grades to provide academic support for organization, planning, exam prep and executive function skills. Our Academic Behaviour Coaching program is designed for grades K-6 while our StudySkills program is for students grade 7-University. Applicants should indicate whether they wish to be considered as coaches for one or both programs.

Applicants must be Registered Social Workers and experience working with school-aged individuals is an asset.

While some virtual sessions are possible, applicants must have reliable transportation and be available for in-person sessions in the Hamilton and Burlington areas (specifically North Burlington and Ancaster) on weekday afternoons and evenings (as permitted by Public Health Ontario). Paid training is provided for selected applicants.

Experience





- Proven experience working with children or adolescents in educational or clinical settings.
- Experience conducting research or data collection related to pediatrics or mental health interventions.
- Knowledge of special education practices and accommodations for diverse learning needs.
- Strong case management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple services effectively.
- Ability to learn and follow academic coaching systems and protocol.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, educators, and healthcare professionals.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
