Montrose Pet Clinic is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our team!

We are a small, single-doctor companion animal practice looking for an RVT who wants to be an important part of a close-knit veterinary team and have the opportunity to genuinely use their skills and knowledge.

Our practice primarily sees cats and dogs with the occasional rabbit. Our caseload includes preventative wellness care, medical cases, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and spay/neuter procedures.

What you can expect

As an RVT with our practice, you'll have the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of cases and utilize the skills you've worked hard to develop.

We value the role RVT's play in patient care and want our RVT to be an active and trusted member of the veterinary team, not simply someone who is there to hold animals and clean up.

You'll have opprotunities to participate in patient assessments, diagnostics, anestheisa and monitoring, dentistry, radiography, surgery, nursing care, client education, and other responsibilities within your training and professional scope.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an RVT who is:

- Registered and in good standing with the ABVMA
- Confident working with both cats and dogs
- Comfortable, or interested in, anesthesia, dentistry, radiography, laboratory diagnostics, and surgery
- Compassionate and patient-focused
- Comfortable communicating with clients and providing education




- Organized and able to work independently
- A team player who communicates respectfully with coworkers
- Someone who takes pride in doing things well and advocation for their patients

New graduates are welcome to apply. We are happy to support someone who is motivated to continue developing their skills. Wage: $25-$27/hour

ABVMA fees: Reimbursed

Hours: Generally 8:30a-4:30p with occasional Saturdays

We are happy to discuss scheduling and find a part time arrangement that works for both the successful canditdate and our practice.
