We're looking for a Regulatory Compliance Lead who will play a key role in evolving Affinity’s Regulatory Compliance Management Framework. We are looking for deep regulatory expertise and a passion for helping organizations navigate complex requirements with confidence. If you're energized by translating legislative change into practical business solutions, influencing stakeholders, and strengthening compliance practices across an organization, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact
What you’ll do
- Monitor changes in financial services legislation, regulations, and industry guidance, assessing impacts and recommending appropriate actions.
- Identify compliance deficiencies and gaps while providing new requirements to the appropriate business unit sponsor.
- Manage complaint investigations and resolution for escalated member concerns related to financial services,
using complaint trends and root cause analysis to identify corrective actions and opportunities for improvement.
- Promote a risk culture that underpins Affinity’s core values and is regarded as a key objective in business decisions and processes.

What you’ve got
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of financial services legislation and regulatory requirements, including research and environmental scanning
- Intermediate technical knowledge of compliance and risk oversight, including testing and reviewing control systems
- Ability to lead, engage, and coach employees, set clear expectations, review progress, provide feedback and guidance, and hold people accountable
- Ability to conduct and use leading practice research to create, implement, and revise innovative processes
