Kildare Renovations is looking for someone with at least 5 years of residential painting and plastering experience. The position involves preparing surfaces, plastering, drywall repairs, painting, finishing, and other related renovation work.
What you will do
- Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, doors, drywalls and other surfaces for painting or plastering.
- Complete plaster repairs and finishing.
- Paint a variety of residential surfaces using brushes, rollers, and other equipment.
- Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and finished areas while working.
- Measure and determine materials needed for assigned work.
- Work with carpenters and other renovation team members on residential projects.
- Assist with general renovation and labour duties when required.
- Take proper care of company tools and equipment.
- Follow the daily schedule and instructions from the Project Manager, foreman, or site leader.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of residential painting and plastering experience (surface preparation, plastering, drywall repair, and finishing; knowledge of residential paints, materials, and application methods).
- Work independently and as part of a renovation team.
- Ability to travel between residential job sites in St. John’s and surrounding areas.
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
