This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure programs are compliant, competitive, cost‐effective, and deliver a strong employee experience.The ideal candidate combines analytical capability, vendor management expertise, and operational excellence to support a growing and distributed workforce of 2,200 employees across 19 countries.This is a hybrid role based in our Vancouver office, with in‐office days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.What You'll DoBenefits Service & DeliveryManage day‐to‐day administration of global benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and wellness programs.Field and resolve employee benefits inquiries, providing transparent guidance on plan provisions, eligibility, and claims processes while coordinating with vendors and escalating complex issues as needed.Leave of Absence Program ManagementSupport administration of leave of absence programs including FMLA, state and local leave programs, parental leave, disability leave, and other company leave policies.Lead the design, testing, and continuous improvement of leave workflows and system configurations, driving process optimization,
automation, and scalability across programs.Coordinate leave cases with third‐party administrators and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate leave tracking and payroll impacts.Serve as a point of contact for employee and manager questions related to leave policies, eligibility and processes.Partner with HR, Payroll and vendors to resolve leave‐related issues and ensure accurate pay and benefit continuation during leave.Vendor ManagementServe as operational point of contact for benefits vendors and consultants.Partner with vendors, brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate plan administration, holding vendors accountable for service delivery.Track vendor performance, responsiveness and service levels.Maintain open‐items logs and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues.Compliance & GovernanceSupport compliance with U.S. and global regulatory requirements including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA and GDPR.Assist with preparation and distribution of required notices and filings.Support 401(k) governance processes, including 401(k) non‐discrimination testing and annual audits.Analytics & ReportingAssist with configuration and maintenance of benefit enrollment system and vendor integrations (e.G., HRIS, payroll and vendor platforms).Identify root causes of issues by auditing and troubleshooting data discrepancies and developing sustainable solutions.Develop and maintain benefits reporting dashboards and data visualizations to track utilization, cost trends and program performance, translating insights into actionable recommendations.Analyze utilization,
cost trends and program performance.Support renewal analysis and benchmarking activities.Program ImprovementsIdentify opportunities to improve programs, employee experience and operational efficiency.Assist with implementation of new benefits and program enhancements.Support annual enrollment planning and execution.Employee CommunicationsDevelop and maintain clear employee communications and educational resources.Partner with vendors to create branded materials and awareness campaigns.Champion wellbeing & mental health initiatives by sharing relevant insights with the business and across ERG communities.The Experience You Bring4‐6+ years of experience in benefits and leave administration.Solid knowledge of U.S. health and welfare plans and retirement programs; global experienceand M&A exposure a plus.Experience working with brokers, TPAs and benefit vendors.Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.Experience supporting benefit renewals and annual enrollment cycles.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems independently and exercise judgment in resolving issues and determining when to elevate complex issues.Strong time‐management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively in a fast‐paced environment with shifting priorities.Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in our Vancouver hub ranges from $113,000 - $125,000 CAD annually + applicable bonus.
