It offers financial planning and investment services to over two million Canadians through IG Wealth Management and Mackenzie Investments.LocationWinnipeg & TorontoDivisionInvestment SolutionsPosition SummaryThe Director, Investment Programs will lead the strategic oversight, development, and execution of investment programs and portfolios, with a focus on model‑driven programs such as iProfile and SMA. The role ensures alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and firm‑wide investment philosophy, and collaborates with internal stakeholders across investment management, distribution, compliance, and operations to deliver high‑quality, customized portfolio solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage investment programs (iProfile and SMA)Enhance the advisory experience in iProfile (Non‑Discretionary and Discretionary)Develop additional program capabilities and flexibility across all programsContinuously work to improve operating scaleSupport the promotion and growth of the programsPlatform strategy & innovationStrategically advance all components of iProfile programs toward a single model‑driven programDevelop future investment models and productsAdvance integrated investment solutions for HNW clients (Private assets, use of models and funds,
etc.)Investment program oversight and governanceEnsure all programs are within corporate suitability frameworkMaintain compliance with regulatory requirementsBuild controls and mechanisms to adhere to investment targetsStrategic initiativesLead and/or support strategic initiatives within the investment solutions teamQualificationsDegree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. Master’s degree (MBA, MSc Finance) or CFA Charterholder preferred.Seven or more years of experience in investment management, portfolio construction, or investment programs. Relevant investment management experience preferred.Qualified in CFA, CIM, or experience with project initiatives.Robust understanding of capital markets, asset allocation, and portfolio management.Experience with platform development or enhancements.Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $122,000 – $164,000 per year.
