On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is recruiting an experienced Industrial Mixer for a food manufacturing facility in KITCHENER.

Shift Availability: Day, Afternoon & Night
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr + 4% vacation pay added to each weekly cheque

Job Responsibilities
Accurately measure and prepare large quantities of ingredients for cracker production
Operate industrial blenders and mixing equipment
Monitor raw materials and supply levels and notify appropriate personnel when replenishment is required
Follow work orders, product specifications, and production procedures
Assist the packing department and other production areas as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements




Previous experience in food production, baking, mixing, or a similar manufacturing environment is an asset
Strong basic math skills and the ability to accurately measure ingredients
Basic computer skills
Ability to read and follow work orders and recognize product codes
Good communication skills in English
Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced production workplace
Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs.) repeatedly throughout the shift
Robust attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
Must have CSA-approved safety footwear
