Residential Cleaner – Unit Turnovers and Deep Cleaning

Data Pharms Inc., operating under HomeShare, is hiring a reliable full-time residential cleaner in Thunder Bay. The work includes routine cleaning, deep cleaning, renovation cleanup, and move-in/move-out unit turnovers.

We need someone who can follow transparent written instructions, work independently, notice what needs attention, and report back properly after each assignment. Education is not our main focus. We care about reliability, attention to detail, good judgment, communication, and consistent results.

Pay: $25 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, with some on-call availability for urgent or time-sensitive cleaning needs

Location: Thunder Bay, Ontario; work takes place at different local properties

Responsibilities

- Complete routine, deep, turnover, and post-renovation cleaning of residential units.
- Thoroughly clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, common areas, appliances, cabinets, counters, sinks, fixtures, walls, baseboards, doors, windowsills, and floors.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and remove dust, grease, residue, and other buildup.
- Organize light items and prepare units for occupancy when instructed.
- Follow written cleaning lists, property notes, and special instructions carefully.
- Take clear before-and-after photos when required.
- Confirm when work begins and provide a clear completion update.
- Report damage, missing items, maintenance concerns, access problems, and anything that could not be completed.
- Ask for clarification instead of guessing when instructions or conditions are unclear.
- Keep keys, access information, and resident information confidential.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and leave each work area organized and secure.




- Be reasonably available for occasional on-call cleaning when an urgent issue or time-sensitive turnover arises.

Requirements
- Available for full-time work, approximately 40 hours per week.
- Able to travel reliably between properties in Thunder Bay.
- A valid driver's licence and dependable vehicle are strong assets for this position.
- Residential, commercial, hotel, housekeeping, or turnover-cleaning experience is preferred.
- Able to understand and follow detailed written instructions and checklists.
- Comfortable working independently without constant supervision.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for messages, schedules, photos, and work updates.
- Reliable, punctual, honest, and attentive to detail.
- Able to complete physically demanding cleaning, including bending, lifting, and working on your feet.
- Comfortable cleaning heavily soiled units when appropriate supplies and safety instructions are provided.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
