Manager will be responsible for maintaining high operational standards, optimizing team performance, and fostering a welcoming environment for guests.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members
- Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to quality standards in cooking and presentation
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of stock
- Implement marketing strategies to increase customer engagement and sales
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for recent team members
- Lead by example in hospitality, leadership, and teamwork to motivate staff toward excellence
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles
- Strong background in food service, food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Supervising experience with a track record of effective team management and development
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently
- Experience in restaurant experience, hotel experience, or barista experience is a plus
- Leadership qualities with the ability to interview, train, and motivate staff effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing operations and staff performance
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
