Position Summary The Front Counter Attendant is the first point of contact for our guests. This role is responsible for taking orders, handling payments, coordinating take-out and delivery orders, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service
- Take in-person, phone, and online orders accurately
- Operate POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions
- Coordinate take-out and delivery orders with kitchen staff
- Assist in the kitchen prepping orders as necessary
- Package food orders correctly and ensure accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness of front counter,
lobby, and beverage areas
- Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties
- Address customer questions or concerns professionally
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous customer service or restaurant experience an asset (not required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and robust work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
