Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including table setup, clearing, and sanitation of workstations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues efficiently
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, adhering to food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, accommodating special needs, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, cashiering, and food preparation is advantageous
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
