JOEY South Common is looking for a polished and energetic Restaurant Staff member to help deliver the kind of service that keeps guests coming back. This role is suited to someone who enjoys a busy dining room, takes pride in presentation, and can move naturally between guest service and team support throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and create a positive first impression
- Assist with orders, menu questions, and general guest requests
- Deliver food and beverages with attention to timing and presentation
- Confirm orders are accurate before serving
- Communicate dietary requests and special instructions to the appropriate team
- Support servers and kitchen staff during high-volume service
- Clear and reset tables while maintaining a polished dining area
- Keep service stations stocked, clean, and organized
- Assist with POS transactions and payments when required
- Respond professionally to guest concerns and seek management support when appropriate
- Help with opening, closing, setup, and cleaning duties
- Follow restaurant standards for food safety, sanitation, and guest service
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred
- Confident, friendly, and professional communication style
- Strong attention to detail and personal presentation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant
- Ability to manage changing priorities during busy service
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and service standards
