We are looking to add a natural leader with a proven track record in the industrial market to our team.Salary$65,000 - $75,000Position FunctionReporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising one of the production areas of Caldic’s Mississauga facility.ScopeThe Production Supervisor will be accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the designated production area and will collaborate with the P&C, HSE and Quality teams to ensure production meets customer and internal stakeholder expectations in a secure and high‑quality manner.Major Tasks and DutiesWork with P&C to maintain adequate staffing levels in support of the business and budget.Reconcile Time & Attendance for the production team (and temporary employees)



and manage vacation requests.Ensure compliance with all Quality and Safety programs and communicate feedback from the production teams.Work with the Maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.Conduct a Daily Management Meeting to keep teams aligned and engaged with our KPIs.Communicate production challenges/concerns with the broader Ops/Supply Chain leadership team.Monitor and maintain all non‑inventory equipment/supplies required for the production area (PPE, filters/screens/scales/etc).Attend the HACCP and JHSC meetings as a representative of the production area.Attend any required training necessary for the job.Complete any other duties deemed required by Operations management.Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceMinimum grade12 education or equivalent.At least 5years of production experience in a food manufacturing setting.Must be able to lift up to 25kg/50lbs on a regular basis.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.Willing to work in a dusty and noisy work workplace at all times.Forklift, Reach Truck & Scissor Lift certification is required.About CaldicWe value team spirit, open communication, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
